Form4Alpha ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Trotter Ventures LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use form4alpha.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address, and a securely hashed password (if you sign up with email) — we never store your password in plain text.
• Your Google account ID, if you sign in with Google — we do not receive your Google password.
• A Stripe customer ID and subscription status, if you upgrade to Pro. We do not receive or store your card number — Stripe handles all payment details directly.
• Watchlist tickers, saved searches, and custom alert rules you create.
• Basic usage analytics via Google Analytics (pages visited, general location, device type).

We use your information to operate your account, send the alert emails you've configured (watchlist alerts, custom rule matches), process Pro subscription billing, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
• Resend — delivery of alert and account emails.
• OpenAI — generates the AI Trade Explainer analysis and site content. Filing data sent to OpenAI is limited to what's already public via SEC EDGAR.
• Google — Sign-In authentication and Analytics.
• SEC EDGAR — the source of all insider trading filing data on this site, which is public record.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (like light/dark theme), and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent you from staying signed in.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below.

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your Account page, or by contacting us directly. If you're in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to request a copy of your data or its deletion.

Form4Alpha is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
